Even with the large number of good reviews, I bought this cabinet with low expectations. I would have bought a metal cabinet were it not for the issue of rust and corrosion. I doubted that a plastic utility cabinet could be sturdy and have strength enough to be truly useful. When I began to unpack the plastic panels, my doubts multiplied. The panels seemed flimsy. However, when I was halfway through the assembly, which goes fast and is actually quite simple, I could see that the cabinet was going exceed my expectations by a large margin.
The engineering of this product is excellent. The panels assemble to a rigid structure. The instructions are complete and easy to follow. Each shelf is rated to hold 40 pounds and I can easily believe this is accurate. It is actually a joy to see that a product is so well made and fulfills all that is claimed for it by the manufacturer. I only write reviews for items that I really like or which have greatly disappointed me. I think you can see that in the case of the Sterilite Utility Cabinet, it was the former that inspired me. -- Amazingly Better Than I Expected
This is the second one I have purchased and I am going to order another. They are very useful for the purposes intended. I have had the first one for two years and out in the blazing sun of the southwest desert in my garden and it is holding up unbelievably where most things plastic would have crumbled by now. -- Great utility cabinet
In Michigan this costs $69.99 at Wally's World and $69.99 at Meijer. It's $59.99 at our local hardware store. $89.99 is $20-30 more than you can get it for today at a B&M store.

I purchased three units for my basement. They were very easy to assemble and look good. Given the price point, I am happy with the quality. The cabinets are narrower than others, but taller. The capacity is quite large and the four shelves help keep things organized. I would definitely recommend, particularly if you can get free shipping as I did. -- Good value - does the job well

It's lightweight so it's easy to move around and it's a piece of cake to assemble. You can move the shelves to suit your storage needs. We have used ours for years now and it has held up really well.
